Fort Edmonton Park in Alberta, Canada recently opened its doors for the first time in nearly three years to much anticipation and excitement!
This long-awaited re-opening marked the culmination of a $165 million investment to upgrade and expand the park, including bringing the Indigenous Peoples Experience to life.
Initial public responses have celebrated the immersive, effective exhibit. Developed in conjunction with the City of Edmonton, Treaty Six First Nations, and the Métis Nation of Alberta, the Indigenous Peoples Experience tells a more comprehensive story about the rich history and cultures of the region.
nFusion proudly acted as the Prime Consultant and Attraction Manager to provide design management, procurement and implementation guidance, and Creative and Technical Direction for the Fort Edmonton Park expansion with our stellar team of brilliant creatives and technical subconsultants.
The project’s completion during COVID-19 demonstrates strong collaboration and problem-solving by a local and international project team, which allowed them to deliver on original visitor experience goals and make real-time modifications for post-pandemic operations.
