Paul is a Registered Architect and Interior Designer with over 40 years in the design industry. He has extensive experience in initial project scope analysis and programming, project team management, design, contractual due-diligence evaluations and design peer reviews on large-scale leisure and themed entertainment projects in the U.S. and abroad.

Paul began his career as a traditional architect, practicing with firms in Dallas and Los Angeles. Working with RTKL, Paul acted as project manager for the “Stairway” Escalator System iconic to Universal Studios Hollywood, which moves thousands of people per hour from the upper park Entertainment Center to the lower lot Studio Plaza. Paul later joined Universal Studios Hollywood as Director of Design, working on classic attractions and rides such as Back to the Future and Jurassic Park.

After his tenure at Universal Studios and the establishment of Paul Furia Consulting, Inc., Paul parlayed his expertise in project management and design to serve and benefit the Owner’s vision for project design, scheduling, budgeting and management, from inception to completion. The breadth of his experience spans theme parks, hotels and resorts, casinos, specialty retail, restaurants, and mixed-use developments.

As a Program Manager at nFusion, Paul manages the overall architectural design process for world-class destinations.
